This weekend I took a bowl turning lesson with my friend Sunny.
We loved it- 4 hours flew by and we walked away with a beautiful cherry bowls! I planned on giving a step by step, but there is so much info to fit in there, that if you are interested in learning to use a lathe to turn bowls... you should be taught from someone who knows what they are doing! (I went to the POST on Kercheval with Nicolette- she was the best teacher!)
Here are some pics- I am planning on ebonizing my bowl this week (will post). I am already excited to go back for another lesson and learn to turn wet wood using the Ginko tree from our yard.
